Increase your water intake. Dried lips are a sign a dehydration. If they are dried from the sun, then use chapstick with sunscreen in it.
Burt's Bees lip balm is one of my beauty staples and personally one of my favorite balms. The peppermint one, the original, is by far the best. By the way, pick up Burt's Bees lemon cuticle cream. It will do wonders with your cuticles. Also, don't forget about your toes. I would forgo the Vaseline because it could clog your pores and it is not all natural like Burt's products.
Do not lick them! It makes them hurt more. Use a medicated chapstick and drink a lot of water.
