My lips have been chapped for like ever?

and no matter how much chapstick i use they still stay chapped. My lips have been chapped for like ever?
It could be the sun because sun can dry up or burn your lips, just as

it does to your skin. Licking your lips a lot, and dehydration can give you chapped lips tooo. Sooo, like I found this:

Use an oil-based lubricating cream or lip balm containing petrolatum or beeswax. Before going out in cold, dry weather, apply lip cream or balm that contains sunscreen. Drink lots of liquids too. Reapply often while outdoors.

Don't peel them. Just use vaseline on them. No lie. For awhile, your lips will stay looking chapped and the dead skin will start to fall off on it's own, but you don't want to peel it off because if it's not ready, it will just continue. Just use vaseline throughout the day and put some on before you go to bed. It should only take about 4-5 days. At least give it a try.

Worked wonders for me!

Also, DO NOT USE CARMEX!!! Although it feels great on your lips, it's medicated so it makes your lips continually peel.
You are not drinking enough water. It is the fountain of youth. Many people overlook it. We are robbed in winter of moisture, because the air is so dry. Drink a few extra glasses of water. If you want to use products, vary your product. Use Burt's Bees for 1 week, use Carmex the next. Our bodys get used to products and they do not work after awhile. Just like changing shampoos on your hair. A new product just seems to work better for awhile. I do not know why.
Try Vaseline. The jelly original kind. I used to have a friend who had really chapped lips, and has been using it for a few weeks. It has gotten a lot better.
I use a really soft bristled toothbrush, put a little vaseline on it and exfoliate my lips with it. It works great.

Or blistex lipbalms work great. So does nivea. Good luck !
If you have always used chapstick, like when they weren't chapped, your lips will lose their natural moisture. Try something that's medicated.
Use vaseline and keep putting it on everytime it dries up.

Also drink alot of water and don't lick you're lips because that will make them more dry!
first, use a wet toothbrush to brush the dead, peeling skin from your lips, then apply just about any type of oil (or i like vaseline) on them.

good luck : )
try vasaline.

if that doesnt work try berts bees, or hollister chap stick. they seem to work best for me and vary about 2-6$.
Chapped lips are a sign of dehydration. Try drinking more water.
smeare badam oil on your lips
Have you tried Carmex?
