it might be a from of skin cancer...my coach had a white patch on his lip and it turned out to be cancer. He had it removed in time. Be sure to get it checked!!
Maybe she should get tested for H.I.V or anemia.

In and around your opening? I'm 11 weeks pregnant, had an U.S. on Monday and baby was perfect, but I keep getting pains around my vaginal opening. Stabbing like with no bleeding. I have never heard of that. I dunno have you been checked for TSS? Becuz this isn't normal. You shouldn't have any pain there.
You are not the only one. I feel this pain alot and I am 21 wks. Some times they are worse than others. If I feel it coming on I lay down because It feels so weird.
I get them too and have had them with each of my three pregnancies. I have no idea what the pain is caused from but I have asked my doctor and he assured me they are normal and nothing to worry about.

Totally weird! I thought i was the only person ever to feel that! Only I don't feel it when pregnant! I have endometriosis and it has lodged itself inside the vaginal lips....
I did look in the What to Expect When You're Expecting Book and it does say that that entire area is subject to feelings and sensations that you've never felt before!

My lips are severely chapped and have a red line underneath them. What is the best thing to use to get rid of it. I started using Vaseline and medicated chapstick. Does anyone know anything that would help and how long it would take for it to go away? Please Help.How to heal Chapped lips?

Get a lip balm that doesn't have petroleum in it. The petroleum (which is in vaseline and chap stick) just sits on your lips, it doesn't penetrate the skin to moisturize. Try one with shea butter or the like. You may not be able to find one like that at the drug store, it might require a trip to the health food store, but it's worth it. Badger is my favorite brand. You'll notice a big difference after just a few uses of that. Be sure to apply it right before bed, too. After they start to feel a little better, mix a teaspoon of sugar with a few drops of water in your hand and exfoliate your lips with that, and immediately follow it with your lip balm. Your lips will be sof and smooth in no time at all!
Use olive oil. Place some on your lips in the evening, before bedtime. Use it a few times during the day. Within 7 days you will notice the difference.
