All you have to do is buy two 14g lip rings at walmart (yes some walmarts do sell them) a piercing place or wherever.
Then take the 16g rings out and stick the 14gs in. Yes you can do it by yourself.
My ears were 18g and I gauged them to 14's a few weeks ago :)
Also if you just got them, wait about two months to gauge them. Infections can occur very fast to newly piercings.How to gage your Lips?
Same way you'd do it with your ears - buy a taper %26amp; larger size jewelry. Use the taper to ease the 14g jewelry in. And it probably would be cheaper if you had someone do it for you, as you wouldn't have to buy the taper.
